In general, it takes about four years to earn a degree in the relevant area to start working as a systems analyst. Vocational education and training (VET) qualifications, such as certificates, diplomas and advanced diplomas, provide hands-on skills and can be completed in a shorter amount of time than an undergraduate degree.
